    Found this treasure on BookBub. After a slow start, I found it to be a great story with HEA ending which is my preference. A few too many extra characters that get no real depth but I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

    This has all the makings of a good story but it lacks in several ways. There is a deadly threat that is never fully explained, nor do the characters appear to be in real danger. There is less dialogue between the main characters and more internal monologues than seem necessary. The plot appears to be building but then falls flat. Won’t buy the next one.

    I honestly liked this book. I kinda wish I got more in the ending though.. I felt things were unresolved and a fairytale ending was written. Lots of unanswered questions.. overall good book.

    **May contain spoilers** I enjoyed reading this in my spare time today. Storyline kept repeating itself too much though through the book which was that Brice left Lena to pursue his dreams without knowing she was pregnant. A few years later, they meet again and she finally tells him he has a kid after a few hook ups. Near the end of the book, I feel like it skipped too much. He found out he had a son then decided he wanted to be a father and have a family with Lena. I wish it was longer to be honest. Didn't take long to finish at all. Great book overall.

    This book is so predictable and unbelievable. He comes unexpectedly to her house and amazingly there is no proof she has a 2 year old? Really? Also story line could have been reduced to about 50 pages and you wouldn't have missed anything.
  • Poorly written characters

    This book had such potential but the characters were never fully developed. Lena, as a single mom, started out strong but Brice was a jerk until the end. I kept rooting for Lena to come to her senses rather than want a HEA.
